Print based

For my first print based poster I used my friend Meghan. The motto for this poster was 'b extra' hence why she is wearing a crazy outfit.
I started off using the green screen as a background for the shoot.

As you can see this photo didn't work very well - due to the colours she is wearing the background almost blended in which isn't what I wanted.
So after trying many angles to see if it made a difference I decided to not use a green screen and instead use a black one.

As you can see, usual a black screen instead of agreed made a lot of difference - her hair and the tones of what she's wearing are more vibrant and stand out well. It also gives the model a more mysterious look and works well with the tone of the shoot which was out of space.
However I still wasn't happy with the lighting, I felt as if it wasn't as good as it could be and didn't do her any justice.

In order to change the lighting and make it enhance her features more I used a reflector
The light immediately changed on her face and minimalised the amount of shadows there were. There was no possible way I could get rid of all of the shadows on the models face due to the ornament she was wearing on her head however it did make them look less harsh.

This is the photo that I end up choosing for my first poster. I feel as if to had the best lighting and really makes her look glowy, this is the look I was going for. Although there are still shadows on her face they aren't as harsh as the others and this is due to brining in the reflector and asking some to hold it in the perfect position.

After going through all these steps and changing lots go things on my first shoot the other 2 shoots were much easier as I now knew what I wanted and could visualise things more as I had already done it once before.

For my second shoot I used Morgan. I used him because he is a very fun and quirky person which was perfect for the campaign I wanted to do.
